Job Summary
Director STARS will lead the Medicare Stars strategy, planning and execution, and manage the Stars team. The role directs the overall Stars improvement strategy, identifies strategic focus areas, plans and executes initiatives, and allocates and monitors budget. It requires collaboration with senior leaders to align initiatives with Medicare Advantage objectives, socialization of performance and CMS regulatory updates, and representation of the Stars program in provider governance and CMS interactions. The position oversees organization-wide awareness of Stars performance, maintains market insights, and partners with cross-functional teams to drive improvement and advocacy. Core responsibilities include leading analytics, program management, and outreach activities; communicating with executive stakeholders; coordinating with VP Sr Markets on CMS planning; and ensuring successful execution of strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing, public health, health care management, or other related degree
- 7 years of relevant experience
