Job Summary
Development Director / Senior Development Director to lead multiple multifamily and mixed-use projects from initial deal evaluation through stabilization, owning the full lifecycle (feasibility, entitlement, design, execution, and delivery). Responsibilities include building and evaluating feasibility (entitlements, market, financials, environmental and engineering), preparing investment materials for internal approvals, managing contracts, risk, and deal strategy, delivering monthly project updates, driving execution with external partners, leading cross-functional teams (Development, Construction, Design, Operations), overseeing vendor performance at an executive level, directing design processes to meet scope, schedule, and budget, and navigating entitlements with municipalities and attorneys. Strong leadership to source and advance new development opportunities; requires ~7+ years in real estate development and a Bachelor's degree (MBA or Master’s in Real Estate a plus). This role involves coordinating with municipalities, land use attorneys, and consultants, participating in hearings, and managing timelines and risk.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in real estate development (or closely related field)
- Direct experience running development deals
- Bachelor’s degree required
