Job Summary
Director-level leadership role directing the pre-sales and technical solutions function for EdTech products across K–12, Higher Education, and Strategic/Professional Education markets. Lead and mentor a Solutions Engineering team, partner with Sales to support strategic opportunities, conduct executive-level demonstrations and pilots, and translate customer requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions. Focus on cross-functional collaboration with Product and Customer Success, drive process improvements, and ensure revenue growth and customer success through technically compelling solutions and SME-level expertise in LMS, data integrations, APIs, and data privacy. Remote-first with travel for customer engagements.
Required Qualifications
- 6–12+ years of progressive experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Solution Architecture
- 2–5+ years of demonstrable team leadership or management experience
- Experience in Education Technology (EdTech), SaaS, or enterprise software
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Education Technology, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience with LMS platforms, data integrations and APIs, and data privacy standards
- Familiarity with education data standards
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and demos platforms
