Director, Solutions Engineering (USA Remote)

Director, Solutions Engineering leads pre-sales and technical solutions for Turnitin's EdTech products and services across K–12, Higher Education, and Strategic/Professional Education markets. The role builds and mentors a high-performing Solutions Engineering team, partners with Sales to support strategic opportunities, and leads complex customer engagements through executive-level product demonstrations and pilots. Responsibilities include developing value-based solutions addressing LMS platforms, data integrations and APIs, and compliance with data privacy standards; mastering front-end and back-end product knowledge as a SME; collaborating across Product, Customer Success, and Onboarding to ensure seamless handoffs; and driving operational metrics related to revenue influence, win rates, and cycle length. Requirements include 6–12+ years in Solutions Engineering or related fields, 2–5+ years of leadership, experience in EdTech/SaaS/enterprise software, strong technical and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education Technology, or related field. The role is remote-first with occasional travel, reporting to the VP of Revenue Operations, with a base salary range of $150,225–$250,375 per year and bonus/commission eligibility.
