Job Summary
Director, Solutions Engineering leads the pre-sales and technical solutions function for Turnitin's EdTech products and services, guiding a high-performing Solutions Engineering team to support revenue growth, customer success, and product innovation across K–12, Higher Education, and Strategic/Professional Education markets. Serves as the primary liaison across Sales, Product, and Customer Success, designing scalable, secure, and impactful solutions; oversees technical evaluations, demonstrations, POCs/pilots, and complex customer engagements; partners with Sales to address strategic opportunities; and drives cross-functional collaboration, ensuring successful handoffs to implementation with a focus on AI-enabled and data-driven education solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 6–12+ years of progressively responsible experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Solution Architecture
- 2–5+ years of demonstrable team leadership or management experience
- Experience in Education Technology (EdTech), SaaS, or enterprise software
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Education Technology, or related field
