Job Summary
Director, Solution Architecture leads a global tech sales organization within Red Hat's Malaysia region, partnering with worldwide sales and product teams to drive open innovation, enablement, and governance. Responsible for hiring, training, and developing a specialized team of technical sales professionals, managing region forecast and pipeline, aligning regional needs with global strategy, building executive relationships, and guiding enablement across presales. The role requires deep experience in technical sales/presales, GTM strategy, cross-country leadership, and ability to communicate market trends to inform product and commercial roadmaps. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur with flexible work environments and international collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of combined experience with technical sales and presales in the IT industry
- Experience with business development and go-to-market strategy
- Experience managing presales teams across multiple countries and cultures
- Excellent leadership, technical, and executive engagement skills
- Proven experience in technical selling, competitive outlook or forecasting, and understanding of end to end sales processes
- Solid technical background in an IT professional role with credibility with a technical team as a thought leader
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work with diverse senior executives
- Willingness to travel in line with company guidelines
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, including managed services, and application platforms is a plus
