Director, Software Engineering

Director-level leader to build, grow, and lead the India engineering team from the ground up in Pune (Hybrid). Own full hiring lifecycle, mentor engineering managers and senior engineers, foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, and ensure seamless integration with the global engineering organization. Drive engineering processes across the SDLC, enforce code review standards, testing strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes, and track metrics like velocity, quality, deployment frequency, and lead time. Provide technical direction in C#/.NET, Azure cloud services, and Azure DevOps, and actively participate in architectural reviews. Partner with Product Management to translate roadmaps into disciplined engineering plans, manage risks and blockers, and maintain hands-on credibility in technical discussions while leading a high-performing SaaS engineering team in a multi-timezone, cross-functional environment.
