Job Summary
Director-level software engineering leadership role at Visa focusing on Ecosystem & Operational Risk technology for payments, fraud-detection services, and AI-enabled governance. Leads multiple engineering teams in architecture, design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale fintech solutions; accountable for code quality, security, testing, incident response, and collaboration with product managers, risk/compliance, and security teams. Demonstrates hands-on coding and technical prototyping when needed, guides requirements gathering, defines system designs aligned with business strategy, and oversees release planning and delivery metrics. Requires 15+ years of experience, strong fintech/payments domain background, and deep expertise across Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL, Kubernetes, and Kafka. Must be willing to work in Bengaluru with in-office days as defined by the Hiring Manager.
