Job Summary
Lead development and execution of the Society’s social media strategy to grow audience, engagement, and fundraising. Manage a team of social media professionals, oversee content calendars, expand into new platforms, ensure brand-consistent messaging, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align social media with multi-channel marketing and organizational goals. Drive data-driven optimization of campaigns, report on KPIs, and stay current on platform trends.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of social media management experience with leadership roles
- expertise with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, and X
- experience creating and leading execution of integrated multi-channel social media plans
- ability to grow followers, increase engagement, and support fundraising goals
- experience managing social media advertising budgets
- familiarity with project management/tools such as Asana, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to develop engaging content that aligns with brand voice and storytelling
- data-driven mindset with ability to monitor, analyze, and report on performance
