Job Summary
Supervise daily operations of the Snowsports Discovery Center, manage staff recruitment, and develop aggressive training programs to ensure high-quality instruction. Design and execute staff assignments, schedule rotations, and communicate directly with both employees and customers to maintain service standards. Lead the management team in promoting educational offerings while developing innovative programming and improving existing courses. This Full-Time or Part-Time seasonal role runs from mid-August to late April, with specific availability required from October through March.
Required Qualifications
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Must be available to be on site from approximately October-March
- Must be available weekends and holidays throughout the season
- Must be able to lift and ski or snowboard with 50lbs of equipment
- Must be able to work outside in all conditions for long periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum PSIA/AASI L3 or equivalent preferred
- Experience working with and training staff preferred
- Race course setting and or USSA experience
- Experience with ALGE timing equipment and Split Second Software
- Able to quickly learn and become proficient in using multiple computer softwares
- USSS L100 preferred
