Job Summary
Director of Site Merchandising leads a team to optimize the customer’s discovery and selection of products across Macy’s digital properties, drives online event execution to increase sales and profitability, and defines KPI-driven goals and standards. The role requires shaping site experience through promotions, navigation, on-site search, and taxonomy, collaborating with SEO/UX and cross-functional partners, and developing an agile team through coaching and career development while delivering analytics-driven improvements and presentations to executives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years of online merchandising or retail experience
- 5-7 years of experience coaching, developing, and motivating teams at various levels
- strong analytical and database skills with ability to present insights
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- ability to develop and lead a team and manage projects
