Director SHC Clinic Operations, Bureau of Public Health Clinics

Director of Sexual Health Clinics Operations oversees all Sexual Health Clinic locations for the NYC Health Department, designing and executing operational studies to improve public health service delivery, conducting health services research, analyzing clinic data to identify care trends, and ensuring ethical, compliant operations. Responsible for daily clinic operations, staff deployment, quarterly audits of customer service and workflows, standardizing clinic spaces and testing environments, and producing site assessments for senior leadership. Collaborates with IT, Medical Directors, Finance, CQMI, and Quality Director to optimize EMR workflows, billing processes, and staff training. Ensures compliance with NYS Article 28 standards and CMS regulations, leads staffing and onboarding across sites, and guides strategic policy alignment with municipal, state, and federal public health initiatives. Works within the agency’s governance for medical billing and registration activities and supports continuous quality improvement in clinical operations. Work-from-home is permitted up to two days per week depending on position.
