Job Summary

Lead service line development efforts by identifying growth opportunities, assessing market demand, and converting approved priorities into operationally actionable initiatives aligned with community needs. Develop business plans, budgets, and pro formas to evaluate operational feasibility, staffing models, and long-term financial sustainability for new and expanded services. Direct the full lifecycle of service implementation, including planning, governance, launch readiness, and operational handoff, while coordinating action items across clinical leadership and support functions. Oversee post-launch stabilization and continuous improvement by monitoring risks, dependencies, and performance metrics across quality, productivity, and patient experience. Provide leadership to managers and program leaders, establishing accountability for deliverables and representing the function in senior-level operational planning forums.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (higher degree accepted) In Business, Health Administration or related field
  • 5 years Progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, service line development, strategic growth, ambulatory operations, business planning, or clinical program development within a hospital system, large medical group, public health district, or similarly complex healthcare environment
  • 5 or more years of leadership experience with accountability for supervising teams, directing cross-functional initiatives, managing competing priorities, and delivering measurable operational, financial, or access outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience developing business plans, operating models, and implementation strategies for new or expanded healthcare services, including collaboration on budgets, pro formas, and capital planning
  • Experience leading operational readiness and resource planning, including staffing models, space planning, equipment needs, workflow design, scheduling, and launch requirements for specialty or clinical services
