Job Summary
Director, Sales Specialist will own end-to-end sales within the New York territory, prospecting and prioritizing potential clients, building relationships to understand business challenges, and driving revenue through new logo acquisition and cross-sell/up-sell within existing relationships. The role requires developing and executing a quarterly territory plan to achieve quota, leveraging knowledge of CreditSights’ products and competitive advantages, applying strong sales and negotiation skills to close profitable deals, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth onboarding and transition to account management. The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of B2B sales experience (preferably in financial services or related industries), proficiency with Salesforce.com, and strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities. The position emphasizes strategic client engagement, insight-driven activities, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 7 years of B2B sales experience (preferably in financial services, research, or data)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota across multiple periods
- Experience with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline and territory plan
