Job Summary
Lead and mentor an outside sales team selling K-12 curriculum in the Tennessee and Georgia territories; set revenue objectives and execute strategic plans to achieve growth in all products/services. Build and manage forecast and pipeline reviews, drive lead generation, and collaborate with marketing, program management, and supporting departments to respond to market trends and changes in teacher licensure/recertification. Develop new sales materials, contribute to territory strategic planning, and oversee professional development and evaluation of the sales team. Travel regularly within the territory for on-site customer meetings; partner with Regional VP of Sales, Finance, and Operations to guide revenue growth and achieve objectives.
Required Qualifications
- BA; business management, education, or related field; or BA with excellent work-related experience.
- K-12 sales experience preferred
- Experience leading an outside sales team
- Experience managing P&L and budget process
