Job Summary
Director, Sales leading a 5-8 member Account Executive team, with remote-work flexibility from a home office in the Southeast. Responsible for guiding prospects to Rimini Street solutions via solution selling, exceeding monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets, and developing the sales pipeline. Key duties include hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, and managing a team of high-volume quota-bearing AEs; collaborating with marketing for a coordinated go-to-market approach; delivering weekly forecasts; maintaining and expanding enterprise accounts; and traveling roughly 25% for sales opportunities. Requires 10+ years of enterprise software and services sales experience, 5+ years in sales leadership, and a proven track record in opening new markets and building teams. Knowledge of ERP software ecosystems (SAP/Oracle) and Salesforce proficiency is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 10+ years experience selling enterprise software and services
- 5+ years in a sales leadership or equivalent role
- proven experience building and leading sales teams
- experience selling ERP software such as SAP and Oracle or related solutions
- strong understanding of sales methodologies (solution selling, team selling) and CRM tools (Salesforce)
- willingness to travel ~25%
- ability to recruit, onboard, and develop AEs
- demonstrated ability to open new accounts and manage quota-bearing teams
- team-selling experience with direct reports involved in deals
