Job Summary
Director of Sales & Marketing leads the hotel’s commercial strategy across sales, marketing, events, rooms, and food & beverage to drive revenue and long-term growth. Responsible for developing and executing short- and long-term sales, marketing, and business strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand market share; collaborating with hotel leadership, regional teams, and partners on pricing, forecasting, digital marketing, and performance; monitoring market trends and competitive activity; overseeing budgeting and forecasting; building and maintaining relationships with clients, tourism partners, airport and community organizations, and third‐party travel partners; and leading a high-performing sales and marketing team through coaching and development. Must bring proven leadership in hotel sales and marketing, hospitality industry experience, strong stakeholder engagement, data-driven decision making, and proficiency with Opera and Microsoft Office; comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative, inclusive leadership style.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in hotel sales and marketing
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, or related industry with understanding of commercial strategy and revenue management
- Collaborative leadership style with coaching and mentoring
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, partners, media, and team members
- Comfortable with data, forecasting, and budgets; able to translate insights into action
- Tech-savvy with Opera and Microsoft Office platforms
