Job Summary
Director of Risk Management to lead STACK Infrastructure’s insurance programs for construction and operational risk across data-center development and operations. Define risk management framework (policy, strategy, plan), establish risk management processes, and organize risk resources with leadership support. Manage placements of construction risk policies, monitor construction risk, oversee claims and loss control, direct property & casualty and cybersecurity coverage, and coordinate surety bonds with development and power teams. Conduct contract reviews, negotiate terms with business units, standardize insurance coverage requirements for vendors, manage COI requests, advise on insurable vs uninsurable risks, and maintain the RMIS for exposure and claim reporting. Requires collaboration with Blue Owl, finance, construction project managers, and EHS leaders; reports to the Treasurer; initially an individual contributor role. Compensation range $192,920.00 - $216,240.00.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an insurance related field, including construction risk
- CRIS a plus
- Experience in the data center industry a plus
- Strong written, verbal, interpersonal capabilities
- Ability to work in a high demand, rapid paced environment
- Ability to create and deliver training on insurance coverage and process
- Ability to function as an integral part of a highly collaborative team distributed across geographies and time zones
- Strong problem solving, planning, and organizational skills-including multi-tasking
