Job Summary
Develop and govern an end-to-end RFP process and governance framework for Howden Re, accountable for identifying, capturing, and triaging opportunities; influence stakeholders on bid strategy; manage RFP responses with broking account executives to maximize win probability; create high-quality RFP collateral and best-practice library; implement post-tender reviews and innovation in the RFP process; build and lead a team (in-house and outsourced) focused on design, proofreading, storytelling and project management to support embedded RFP champions across the business; collaborate across markets and marketing teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment; operate in London with hybrid working arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in RFP processes across multiple audiences
- Experience leading RFP processes in the (re)insurance industry
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and determine bid/no-bid decisions
- Project management of RFP responses from pre-invitation to post-decision
- Development of high-quality RFP collateral and library
- Design and implementation of post-tender review processes
- Experience implementing technology to drive innovation in RFP processes
- Team development and management (in-house and outsourced) for design, proofreading, storytelling and project management
