Job Summary
Director, Revenue Cycle provides overall leadership and direction of the revenue cycle function, overseeing revenue cycle operations, audits, and performance metrics. Responsible for strategic planning, staff development, cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring adherence to policies and regulatory requirements. Leads processes for optimization of billing, payments, and payer contracts, with a focus on improving KPI performance, operational efficiency, and quality of service across departments; collaborates with leadership to implement best-practice workflows and system integrations (e.g., practice management systems). Requires strong leadership, communication, data analysis, and knowledge of healthcare billing and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field required or Seven (7) plus years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in closely related field with Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of previous leadership experience preferred
