Job Summary
Define optimum circuit topologies and process technologies for data center, energy, and robotics applications based on market needs. Design and test proposed solutions in the lab while collaborating with product development, applications, and process technology teams to deliver new power solutions. Create and nurture the engineering team, bridging the gap between application requirements and process technology development for wide band gap FETs and power modules. This role supports ADI's next-generation Power Electronics initiatives across the Intelligent Edge, requiring advanced expertise in power circuit design, simulation, and hands-on lab measurement within a 1st shift environment.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- 20+ years of industry experience in power electronics
- Proven expertise in delivering new power solutions to market
- Strong technical background in power circuit design
- Strong technical background in simulation
- Strong technical background in implementation
- Strong technical background in hands-on lab measurement
- Experience in working with advanced process technology
- Experience in working with packaging teams
- Experience with wide band gap FETs
- Experience with power modules
- Strong technical writing skills
- Experience with application notes
- Experience with customer support
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to lead cross-functional, multidisciplinary engineering team
