Director, Research Library Partnerships Programs

Director of the Research Library Partnership (RLP) at OCLC responsible for strategic leadership, program coordination, operational delivery, team leadership, membership management, engagement metrics, and communication across global libraries. Oversees up to two Innovation Fellows; collaborates with Senior Program Officers; develops an integrated annual calendar of engagements (webinars, partner forums, focus group meetings, and milestones); manages logistics for virtual and in-person events; coordinates platforms and tools; supports communications and materials; ensures follow-up and documentation; leads a small team of program staff; maintains partner records, billing and renewals; tracks participation and outcomes; prepares internal updates and external communications; explores new affiliation models to support an inclusive library partnership program (including public and national libraries); aligns activities with organizational strategy and partner needs; requires 10+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree (MLIS strongly preferred), and strong relationship-building skills.
