Job Summary
Conduct strategic direction and daily oversight of the Remote Operations Control Center, ensuring 24x7 safe and efficient operation of Air Separation Units. Guide the operations organization through change management, coaching managers and individual contributors while developing cost-effective production strategies. Collaborate with supply chain, production, and engineering teams to troubleshoot remote operations, enhance end-to-end supply chains, and implement process safety standards compliant with FDA and ISO regulations. Lead training programs to maintain team competency in latest technologies and safety protocols, while managing data to derive operational insights and margin improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science degree in engineering discipline
- ASU-Air Separation experience
- 10+ years industry experience
- Air separation experience
- 3+ years prior management experience
- Ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly
- Manage large quantities of data to derive operational and margin insights
- Build cost-benefit cases for improvements
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to interface across all organizational levels
- Build working alliances with internal customers
- Strong organizational skills

- Facilitation capabilities
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable, appropriate transportation to operate a motor vehicle
- Capability to visit diverse Airgas and customer locations
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods

- Exchange information frequently across teams
- Ability to travel overnight up to 15%
- Traverse through office and manufacturing locations
