Job Summary
Director, Regulatory Program Delivery to lead and shape enterprise-wide regulatory initiatives within RBC’s Regulatory PMO. You will oversee a portfolio of complex, interdependent programs, drive alignment between regulatory mandates and business objectives, mentor Senior Program Managers, engage with C-suite and technology partners to secure buy-in, and establish governance and risk frameworks to support regulatory compliance and cybersecurity initiatives on a global scale. The role requires strategic vision, executive leadership, stakeholder mastery, and change leadership, with a focus on delivering programs that optimize risk mitigation, regulatory standing, and ROI. Based in Toronto, Canada, with a full-time, salaried employment arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Executive leadership: 10+ years of experience leading large-scale regulatory, cybersecurity, or risk programs in a complex enterprise environment
- Proven ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a matrixed organization
- Strong political acuity and executive presence with track record of influencing outcomes without formal authority
- Experience with regulatory frameworks and cybersecurity landscapes (e.g., NIST, OSFI, NYDFS) and governance
- Ability to connect regulatory requirements to business outcomes and sequence initiatives effectively
- Demonstrated change management capabilities
- Excellent influencing, negotiating, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Experience delivering programs with high value, complexity, and uncertainty
- Previous banking experience
- CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, PMP or equivalent certifications (Nice to have)
