Job Summary
Coordinate partnership management with philanthropic, government, and community stakeholders to cultivate a strong network advancing Per Scholas' mission in New York and New Jersey. Research government activities affecting the organization, build relationships with federal and local entities, and collaborate with industry advocates to establish common interests. Create effective communication channels between partners, proactively escalate issues, and support the Executive Director and Development teams on donor strategy and engagements. Implement a partnership management framework to maintain relationships and supervise the Senior Manager, Corporate Engagement. This hybrid role (80% NYC, 10% Buffalo, 10% Newark) requires a data-driven leader with 5+ years of experience in the technology or workforce sector.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the technology, advocacy, and/or workforce sector in New York and New Jersey
- Relationship building and partnership management skills
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong project management skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and convert them into partnerships
- Experience utilizing Salesforce and analyzing data
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig into the details
- Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong at managing your time and can balance multiple projects and tasks
- You are open to and accepting of feedback, coaching, and growth
- You are a data-driven, results-oriented, and forward-looking catalyst for social change
