Job Summary
Own India's real estate and portfolio strategy by setting direction, priorities, and deal briefs while partnering with global transactions and broker networks for execution. Act as the primary partner to India site leaders to ensure responsive operations, clear reporting, and site-level support across Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Gurugram, and Mumbai. Provide strategic oversight of site services including facilities, food, transport, and reception through governance frameworks and SLAs. Sponsor major construction, fit-out, and expansion projects by defining strategy and success criteria while a Project Director manages delivery. Build and lead a high-performing India RESS organization, handling outsourced vendors, contractors, and specialist partners. Cultivate relationships with landlords, developers, and government authorities; advise senior India and global leadership. Own operating and capital budgets, drive cost optimization, and deliver executive-ready financial reporting and business cases. Ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and lead India's sustainability and ESG agenda across the portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ of total experience
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years in management experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, workplace services, or related fields
- Demonstrated success leading through others: directing transaction teams, project management teams, and vendor ecosystems to deliver complex, multi-site portfolio outcomes
- Proven financial accountability — direct ownership of significant operating and capital budgets, with a track record of focused performance
- Deep expertise across commercial real estate, workplace operations, facilities engineering, and end-to-end project delivery
- Substantial experience within large multinational or high-growth technology organizations, with confidence navigating complex, matrixed global structures
- Strong financial and commercial competence, with direct ownership of significant operating and capital budgets
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certifications (MCR/CORENET, PMP, RICS, CFM, or equivalent) highly desirable
- Experience supporting engineering, R&D, lab, or high-tech environments — understanding the unique operational demands they present
- Strong command of smart building technologies, workplace analytics platforms, and sustainability frameworks (LEED, GRIHA, or equivalent)
- Track record leading large-scale workplace transformations and rapid portfolio expansions in hyper-growth technology organization
- Natural ability to influence, align, and collaborate across global, regional, and local teams without relying on formal authority
- Genuine passion for operational excellence and a conviction that the physical workplace is a powerful driver of culture, performance, and talent
