Job Summary
Director of Hospice Quality provides strategic leadership and oversight for hospice quality, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, patient safety, and accreditation readiness. Develops, implements, and monitors quality initiatives that support exceptional patient care outcomes, regulatory compliance, and organizational excellence. Collaborates with operational, clinical, and executive leaders to promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and patient-centered care across hospice services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field required
- Master’s degree preferred
- At least 5 to 7 years of leadership experience required
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in quality and compliance required
- Experience with regulatory surveys, accreditation, and quality improvement methodologies
- Current unrestricted RN license preferred, if applicable
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred or obtained within 2 years of employment
- Hospice and Palliative Care certification preferred or obtained within 2 years of employment
