Director, Purchasing

Directs procurement operations to support annual production objectives, focusing on the contract-to-close functions of homebuilding purchasing. Oversees invoicing, options price maintenance and updates, plan budgets and costs, detailed trade scope of work, and vendor maintenance; manages data in purchasing software (including VEO and Design Center) and ensures accuracy across platforms. Leads cross-functional reviews with Sales, Construction, and Design to align pricing and vendor activity; responsibilities include vendor onboarding, budget support, base pricing updates, purchase-order and contract lifecycle support, and ensuring pricing integrity for new plans, subdivisions, and options. Requires a University degree in Business or Supply Chain Management (preferred) and 5-7 years of related experience; strong contract knowledge, negotiation, communication, supplier management, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent planning abilities.
