Job Summary
Lead the executive-security program, including risk assessments, executive transportation, travel-security planning, protective operations, and vendor management. Manage travel-related security capabilities, tracking business travel, and employee support during business trips. Oversee security strategy for Sandisk-hosted and external events involving key personnel, collaborating with Security Operations on execution and staffing. Develop and implement comprehensive strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives, risk exposure, and regulatory requirements. Build and develop an effective protective-services team, cultivating a strong performance culture with clear roles and professional development. This role reports to the Chief Security Officer and requires liaising with executive leadership and key stakeholders to monitor threats and mitigate security risks. Ability and willingness to work irregular hours for emergencies and off-hour needs are required. Previous government intelligence, national security, or law enforcement experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise security, law enforcement, or military with at least 3 years of experience in executive protection
- Proven experience managing protective-services teams for public officials or multinational corporations
- Strong background in physical and personal risk assessment, threat intelligence, crisis management, and emergency response
- Ability and willingness to work irregular work hours to handle emergencies and off-hour security needs
- Required to travel as needed, both domestic and international, with duration dependent on security needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous government intelligence, national security, threat analysis, law enforcement, and/or related government experience preferred
- Law enforcement and/or intelligence background preferred
- Professional certifications (CPP, ITPM, and others) preferred
