Job Summary
Lead MEP engineering strategy across the client's active projects, ensuring systems integration, sustainability targets, and cost efficiency. Oversee design development through construction, coordinating with architects, contractors, and consultants. Manage MEP engineering resources including design team members and external consultants. Serve as client's technical expert for all MEP decisions, presenting recommendations to project leadership. Ensure compliance with building codes, energy standards, and client design requirements. Drive commissioning processes to verify system performance meets specifications. Location is on-site in Mumbai, with a secondment arrangement. Requires 12 to 15+ years of MEP experience, deep knowledge across HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems, BIM coordination proficiency, and strong stakeholder management. Preferred: Bachelor's of Engineering; experience with corporate offices or data centers; ability to translate complex concepts for executives; collaborative leadership across disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- 12 to 15+ years MEP engineering experience
- Bachelor's of Engineering mandatory
- Proven delivery of large-scale commercial projects from design through occupancy
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
- Proficiency with BIM coordination and building performance analysis tools
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to integrate into client organization and work with diverse teams
