Job Summary
Establish and lead a standardized project controls function providing independent oversight of project scope, schedule, budget, cash flow, risk, and vendor performance. Develop governance frameworks, risk management standards, and reporting processes to enhance financial stewardship and executive decision-making across capital and operational portfolios. Partner with Finance, Design, and Construction teams to strengthen budgeting, forecasting, and procurement controls while building a high-performing team and advancing analytics capabilities. Lead monthly reviews and serve as a strategic advisor on portfolio performance and resource planning.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of progressively responsible experience in project controls, capital program management, business operations, finance, facilities planning, construction management, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience in healthcare or an academic medical center
- Experience establishing project controls, PMO, or portfolio governance functions
- Experience with business intelligence, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled reporting
- Professional certification such as PMP, CCM, PSP, or equivalent
- 5 years in a leadership or management role with responsibility for leading teams, enterprise initiatives, or complex capital portfolios
