Job Summary
The Program Director at Women In Need is responsible for overseeing a transitional housing program for families, managing a multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with city and state agencies. The position requires significant experience in human services and leadership, providing coaching and training to staff while monitoring program effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- MPH, MSW, or MA in Health/ Social Services is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the human services sector.
- Three (3) years in a supervisory role with responsibilities for managing budgets and staff.
- Familiarity with EBP, MI and TIC.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Must be bilingual – English/Spanish a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Must be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Must be able to ascend/descend stairs.
- Must be able to travel to offsite meetings and trainings throughout New York City.
