Job Summary
Lead a team of Technical Sales Specialists to drive revenue growth and market expansion for Thermo Fisher Scientific's product portfolio. Develop and implement strategic commercial initiatives, mentor and develop talent, and foster cross-functional collaboration to address challenges in healthcare, research, and applied markets. Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally. Requires a Master's Degree with 12+ years of progressive sales experience and 5+ years of sales management, deep technical knowledge of relevant product portfolios, CRM and funnel management experience, P&L acumen, and strong communication and leadership skills. The role emphasizes building customer relationships, executing commercial strategies, and leading teams within a matrix organization to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a relevant field
- 12+ years progressive sales experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, or related industries
- 5+ years sales management experience leading technical teams
- Deep technical knowledge of relevant product portfolios and applications
- Proven ability to meet revenue growth targets and expand market share
- Strong execution rigor (Std. Work, Metrics, Results-orientation)
- Experience building and leading teams in matrix organizations
- Strong strategic planning and business acumen with P&L management
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels
- Experience with CRM systems, funnel management and data-driven sales methodologies
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies
- Strong customer relationship management and consultative selling abilities
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
