Job Summary
Lead Medline's master data strategy and operating model by establishing a centralized Master Data Center of Excellence to govern policies, taxonomy, critical data elements, workflows, controls, and platform design. Drive organizational change by shifting capacity from manual execution to governance, stewardship, and automation, while defining and measuring KPIs in business terms such as speed to revenue, search performance, and duplicate rates. Define enterprise product record and taxonomy standards across SAP and Informatica, ensuring regulatory compliance and consistent data quality. Lead the automation and AI agenda for intelligent data acquisition, classification, and enrichment, acting as a key thought leader in the overall data roadmap. Manage strategic, tactical, and operational planning for the department, including budgetary responsibility, hiring, performance reviews, and policy implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 7 years of data management experience in a technology, business management and/or consulting role
- At least 2 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work
- Experience applying advanced knowledge of data manipulation and reporting tools
- Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems
- Experience with project management
- Experience with SAP and Informatica
