Job Summary

Drive financial results by delivering topline growth at target margins across Direct and Agency channels in Florida. Oversee state management of rate levels, class plan segmentation, and regulatory compliance for Auto, Home, and Umbrella products while establishing operating budgets and reporting to senior leadership. Identify new business opportunities and deploy pricing or product enhancements to improve profitability in underperforming cells. Actively monitor assigned states, present key results to executive audiences, and develop action plans to restore growth and profit metrics. Partner with Underwriting, Sales, and Marketing to drive growth in profitable customer segments within a highly regulated environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry
  • 5+ years in Product or P&L Management
  • A strong understanding of Personal Insurance products, coverages, and distribution channels including Direct-to-consumer and Agency
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Familiarity with financial statements (income statement, 10K, annual statement) and actuarial concepts (indications, loss development, credibility)
  • Familiarity with data and database procedures such as SQL
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, and executive communication skills
  • Ability to create concise but powerful content and visuals to influence a range of audiences
  • Excellent relationship management skills with an emphasis on collaborating to drive results
  • Demonstrated experience challenging the status quo and broadly influencing key stakeholders to drive change and innovation
  • Ability to make evidence-based decisions quickly with imperfect information
  • Knowledge of local marketplaces, including state-specific regulations and filing requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in pricing, underwriting or data & analytics is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
