Director, Product Management – Agentic AI & API, Operational reports

Job Summary
Define and own the multi-year product strategy for the Operational Intelligence platform, spanning agentic AI capabilities, API products, and the integration layer connecting them. Lead end-to-end product ownership for autonomous reconciliation solutions, including transaction matching, exception resolution, and settlement workflows, while establishing standards for AI output quality and regulatory compliance. Own the strategy, design, and commercialization of the OR API platform to deliver a consistent, reliable surface for consuming reconciliation intelligence across issuers, acquirers, and enterprise clients. Drive go-to-market strategy, pricing models, and client segmentation while representing the product vision at the executive level and board. Build and lead a team of product managers, establish documentation norms, and align engineering, data science, and compliance stakeholders behind a shared product vision.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive product management experience
- At least 3 years in a senior or lead PM role owning platform, API, or AI/ML products at scale
- Demonstrated track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade products end-to-end in regulated industries — fintech, payments, banking, or financial operations
- Proven experience owning API products: defining contracts, driving developer experience, managing versioning, and commercializing API-based capabilities
- Deep familiarity with AI/ML product development including LLMs, agentic workflows, RAG architectures, evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI practices
- Strong understanding of financial reconciliation domain including transaction matching, exception management, settlement, disputes, and regulatory reporting
- Experience leading and developing product management teams; ability to set direction, build capability, and hold the team to high standards
- Exceptional business acumen — comfortable owning business cases, pricing conversations, and commercial outcomes
- Outstanding communication and executive presence; ability to influence without authority across engineering, commercial, legal, and C-suite audiences
- Experience working with globally distributed teams across time zones
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field required
Desired Qualifications
- MBA with technical undergraduate background or advanced degree in AI/ML, Computer Science, or Finance strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade products end-to-end in regulated industries — fintech, payments, banking, or financial operations strongly preferred
- Hands-on familiarity with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, Strands, or OpenAI Agent SDK
- Working knowledge of API design, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, developer portals, and API gateway architecture
- Exposure to RAG pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, and LLM evaluation tooling
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure), event-driven architectures, and distributed data platforms
- Experience with observability tooling — telemetry, monitoring, and production reliability for AI systems
