Job Summary
Director, GTM & Commercialization for Mastercard's Payment Optimization Platform (POP). Lead the go-to-market strategy for global digital partners (merchants and service providers), drive customer adoption and pipeline growth, coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Legal, Finance, Market Development, Account Management, Customer Experience, Marketing) to ensure successful commercialization, and provide subject-matter leadership on payment optimization, including negotiations with customers and pilots with merchants to identify enhancements. Leverage analytics and market insights to inform penetration and adoption strategies, delivering scalable solutions with material value for customers and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Deep understanding of payment processing, authorization, and acquiring services
- Proven expertise in commercialization of scalable solutions and GTM strategies
- Strong experience in customer-facing roles including leading negotiations on new product launches
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business stakeholders, engineering, and analytics teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and guide complex conversations to deliver outcomes
- Technical fluency in authorization performance, payment processing, and acquiring
