Job Summary
Set the UX direction for the core AI/agentic experience, defining a sequenced path from today's fragmented product to a high-quality, trustworthy workflow for high-stakes financial decisions. Lead through influence with Product and Engineering partners to solve data-dense problems like information overload and AI-mediated workflow transparency. Stay hands-on by prototyping in code, contributing directly to highest-leverage surfaces, and helping rebuild the design system to be AI-readable. Coach and grow a small team of senior designers while hiring thoughtfully to maintain a flat org structure. Multiply impact through operating mechanisms like UX audits and clear quality bars rather than personal output alone. Communicate persuasively to VP/C-level, grounding proposals in customer evidence.
Required Qualifications
- Senior product-design leader
- 10+ years of relevant design experience
- Technical and product-driven companies
- 3+ years in people management
- Track record of owning a major product area's experience and shipping it
- Complex, data-dense, or expert-user domains
- Strong, well-argued opinions held with humility
- Genuine AI-native product judgment
- Trust, control, and workflow transformation in agentic and probabilistic systems
- Hands-on craft and technical fluency
- Comfortable prototyping in code
- Using AI tools in your workflow
- Credible to designers and engineers alike
- People leadership
