Job Summary
Director of Product and Content Marketing for Modernize’s multi-product B2B portfolio in the home services vertical. Own the product marketing strategy across positioning, messaging, and go-to-market planning; lead the content engine to drive pipeline, enablement, and brand authority; build and manage a small team of product and content marketers; establish operational infrastructure for high-volume content and product marketing. Serve as a cross-functional partner to Sales, Marketing, Account Management, and Product; translate product direction into executable roadmaps and materials, including sales enablement assets, thought leadership content, case studies, whitepapers, blogs, and collateral. Maintain audience personas, competitive intelligence, and market insights to inform product direction and sales strategy; ensure brand and product positioning is accurate and consistent across activations; measure performance against pipeline, enablement, and content metrics; scale processes, governance, and templates for efficient execution. A strategic leader with industry credibility in home improvement/home services, capable of influencing stakeholders and coaching a team toward high-quality output.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of B2B product marketing and/or content marketing experience
- at least 2 years in a people management role
- experience in home improvement, home services, financial services, mortgage, or lead generation industries
- proven track record of building and scaling content/product marketing functions
- experience marketing a multi-product B2B portfolio to enterprise or mid-market buyers
- excellent written communication skills and ability to produce executive-ready materials
- comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with high project volume and cross-functional dependencies
- experience working within a publicly traded company with emphasis on communication and corporate protocols
