Job Summary

Lead the Product Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team to establish strategies, policies, and governance practices that support compliant products and effective business execution. Monitor regulatory trends, interpret applicable laws and standards, and guide practical implementation plans across new product launches and engineering changes. Coordinate capacity planning, prioritize team assignments, and align work with business needs while overseeing third-party certifications and compliance data accuracy. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Product, Sourcing, Legal, and Manufacturing to identify and mitigate compliance risks. Represent the company with standard development organizations, certifiers, government agencies, and industry associations to support risk-based solutions. Provide regular communication to senior leadership on compliance performance, emerging requirements, and recommended actions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, technology, regulatory affairs, or a related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and proven experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, certification/listing management, product safety, standards, quality, engineering, or a comparable area
  • Proven leadership experience, including people leadership, project leadership, cross-functional influence, resource planning, and performance management
  • Experience interpreting and applying product standards, codes, regulations, and certification requirements to products and manufacturing processes
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and regulatory topics clearly to senior leaders, technical teams, and non-technical collaborators
  • Strong analytical capability and digital literacy, including experience using data, spreadsheets, reporting tools, or business systems to assess performance and support decisions
  • Ability to work across time zones and participate in occasional international calls
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% domestically and internationally to manufacturing sites, business units, certification bodies, and association meetings

Desired Qualifications

  • SAP and Power BI experience
  • Experience participating in standards development organizations, certification bodies, trade associations, or regulatory advocacy activities
