Job Summary
Lead the Product Compliance and Regulatory Affairs team to establish strategies, policies, and governance practices that ensure products meet certification requirements and regulatory standards. Monitor applicable laws and standards to assess business impact, while overseeing third-party certifications and compliance data for accuracy. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Product, and Legal teams to identify and mitigate risks in new launches and engineering changes. Define and report key metrics to measure operational health, coordinate capacity planning, and represent the company with external partners and government agencies. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on emerging requirements and recommended actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, technology, regulatory affairs, or a related technical field; or an equivalent combination of education and proven experience
- 5 or more years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, certification/listing management, product safety, standards, quality, engineering, or a comparable area
- Proven leadership experience, including people leadership, project leadership, cross-functional influence, resource planning, and performance management
- Experience interpreting and applying product standards, codes, regulations, and certification requirements to products and manufacturing processes
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and regulatory topics clearly to senior leaders, technical teams, and non-technical collaborators
- Strong analytical capability and digital literacy, including experience using data, spreadsheets, reporting tools, or business systems to assess performance and support decisions
- Ability to work across time zones and participate in occasional international calls
- Ability to travel approximately 15% domestically and internationally to manufacturing sites, business units, certification bodies, and association meetings
