Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of GEA's principal giving strategy, cultivating high-net-worth individuals, families, and giving collectives; build and manage a global donor pipeline and high-value networks; tailor engagement strategies and co-creation opportunities; leverage donor-advised funds and philanthropic advisors to broaden access; coordinate high-touch stewardship events and board engagement; represent the organization externally to partners and networks; drive strategy, donor stewardship, and partnerships to unlock catalytic funding for scalable impact across energy, climate, and development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience raising major and principal gifts
- Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar fundraising portfolios
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills in major giving
- Experience with HNWIs, family offices, giving circles, and philanthropic coalitions
- High digital fluency including CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics tools
- Experience in or with global organizations focused on clean energy, climate, or international development desirable
