Job Summary
Seeking a Director of Pricing Systems Optimization at PODS to lead the development and implementation of dynamic pricing software. The role requires a strong background in pricing methods and systems, with preferred experience in the logistics industry.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree required in Mathematics, Marketing, Finance or systems/software engineering
- 10-15 years of pricing or closely related experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating with direct pricing responsibility
- Experience in pricing in the travel, hospitality, storage or logistics industry preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of pricing methods
- Hands-on experience in defining pricing rules
- Experience in implementing pricing software with vendors
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Math skills sufficient to perform required duties
