Job Summary
Director, Pricing & Strategy at NBCUniversal leads development of pricing, strategy, and analyses to support Content Distribution deals. Builds robust pricing models for MVPD and Broadcast Affiliate distribution, evaluates value and monetization of rights, and presents strategic/financial plans to stakeholders. Partners with Sales, Legal, and Marketing across cross-functional initiatives, including valuations, content acquisition analysis, and other ad hoc projects. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in financial analysis/modeling, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and willingness to work overtime and weekends during key deals. Hybrid work arrangement; location is New York, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and modeling for a content deal team, strategy or business development group
- Demonstrated analytical strength and process mindset
- Ability to identify creative solutions and isolate key issues quickly
- Proven ability to partner with Sales, Legal and Marketing leads
- Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends during key deals with short notice
