Job Summary
Director, PRD Implementation & Change Management leads global PRD and Product Lifecycle processes, driving adoption and learning strategies across GE HealthCare. Partners with senior design and IMS leadership to implement standardized PRD and lifecycle practices, enabling user-centered, compliant product development, reducing risk and cycle time. Collaborates with Regulatory, Quality, Technical, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-priority changes, defines and enforces global procedures, and communicates program status to senior leadership. Engages end users in pilots and feedback loops, monitors regulatory trends, and applies Change Acceleration Process methodologies to improve adoption and reduce resistance. Champions a quality-driven culture, builds diverse program teams, supports regulatory inspections and traceability, and guides teams through lifecycle phases from idea through end-of-life to ensure continued compliance and improved execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 10 years of work experience
- Minimum of 5 years working in a regulated medical device industry
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory, management, or program leadership experience
- Program Management, Lead System Designer, or significant multi-function core team leadership experience
- Experience across the product lifecycle (pre-M0 to end-of-life)
- Experience as an Installed Base Engineering Leader or equivalent role with lifecycle ownership
- Familiarity with Design Controls, Risk Management, product development/NPI, and product lifecycle management
- Experience planning and executing change management across a business
- Experience with industry regulations and standards (ISO 13485, US 21 CFR 820)
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus across functions
- Excellent communication skills across organizational levels
- Strong leadership and team development skills
