Job Summary
The Director, Power Connections will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of the nVent ILSCO and nVent ERIFLEX global product portfolios. Responsibilities include developing strategic plans with supporting functional objectives, managing product portfolios, conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and market demands, and providing sales enablement through training materials. Additionally, this role will measure financial performance, mentor team members, and contribute to the overall business strategy, requiring strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of global markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in Product Management or Engineering Management, preferably in the electrical industry
- 10+ years of experience leading and mentoring teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Product development and commercialization experience
Desired Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful go-to-market strategies
- Solid understanding of product positioning, messaging, and branding
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong presentation abilities
