Job Summary
Director of Portfolio Management leads a national CRE loan portfolio as a player/coach to a small team, focusing initially on workout strategy, challenged assets, restructurings, and REO processes, with evolving responsibilities toward portfolio surveillance, credit oversight, and strategic risk management. The role requires leadership and collaboration with originations, underwriting, and executive leadership, mentoring junior team members, and driving complex credit decisions, borrower communications, and covenant oversight within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8–15 years of CRE portfolio management, credit, or lending experience
- Experience in CRE workouts, restructurings, or REO situations
- Strong financial analysis and real estate credit skills
