Job Summary
Assist the Administrator in managing overall operational performance, serving as the community lead during their absence. Perform pre-admission screenings, oversee Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), and conduct resident assessments to identify physical and psychosocial care needs. Supervise staff through hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations while managing shift coverage and participating in the on-call rotation. Ensure strict compliance with Wisconsin DHS 83 & 89 regulations, safety standards, and HIPAA confidentiality protocols. Maintain accurate documentation for incident reports, medication administration records, and quality assurance activities. Act as a liaison between residents, families, and care teams to resolve concerns and foster a respectful environment. Requires valid driver's license, CBRF certifications, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Drivers License and ability to pass MVR
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in assisted living, senior care, or CBRF/RCAC environment
- CBRF certifications required or ability to obtain upon hire (Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, Fire Safety, First Aid & Choking)
- Knowledge of Wisconsin DHS 83 and 89 regulations and assisted living standards
- Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer systems, EMARs, and documentation platforms
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and general computer applications
Desired Qualifications
- post-secondary education in healthcare, human services, or management
- Prior experience in a leadership, supervisory, or care coordination role
