Job Summary
Director-level leadership for planning and scheduling across global capital projects, owning integrated schedules, governance, and risk analysis. Drives standardization of planning practices, oversees Front End Studies and Level-1 schedules, and leads schedule reviews and independent assessments. Partners with cost, risk, and contracts leads; communicates insights to senior executives; mentors planning staff and ensures transparency in schedule performance and trend analyses. Utilizes tools such as Primavera P6, Primavera Cloud, and MS Project to manage schedules, run Monte Carlo schedule risk analyses, establish KPIs, and ensure on-time, within-scope project delivery. Emphasizes collaboration with project managers and engineering leads, and supports change management by assessing schedule impacts of scope changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Extensive years of experience in project controls with leadership in Planning & Scheduling
- Expert knowledge of planning tools such as Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, MS Project
- Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing capabilities
- Proficiency in data analysis, statistical analysis and report preparation
- Experience with schedule risk analysis (Monte Carlo) and schedule assurance
- Leadership & governance capabilities, coaching and mentoring planning staff
- Familiarity with GCP PMF, PMP or PMI-SP or Lean Six Sigma credentials (preferred)
