Job Summary
Director, Planned Giving responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding planned gifts to support the Arthritis Foundation’s fundraising goals. Manages a portfolio of qualified planned gift prospects, develops personalized solicitation strategies, aligns donor interests with gift opportunities, and provides ongoing stewardship. Requires travel within the assigned region; communicate the foundation’s mission and programs effectively in writing and in person to inspire philanthropic support. Key duties include revenue goal attainment, relationship strategy development, prospect identification, proposal development, donor recognition, stewardship, and maintaining donor records in CRM (Salesforce). Must demonstrate ability to close high-value gifts, manage multiple projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and maintain donor confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Three or more years of planned gift fundraising, including bequest administration, charitable gift annuities, trusts and other planned gifts, preferably in a voluntary health setting.
